All I have to do is keep smiling,
or hope may be forever lost
"So maybe we should hook up again sometime." Gold whispered to the 3rd woman he went out with today, wrapping his arm around her waist to bring her closer to him. "Um...Nah..." The blonde he was once holding, then got up and began to walk away from the now depressed Gold. "Not again!" He cried, flailing his arms as he realized he got rejected for the 3rd time. Was he just not good enough for the ladies of this town? Of course not! He was probably just too good for them, and they knew that, which is why they refuse to hang around with him. Yea, that's the reason. Happy with his conclusion, the man smiled his cocky grin again and slipped into the water. Most would worry about getting their clothing wet, but Gold didn't care at all. He just wanted to relax and have fun. "Aaaambi!" In the matter of seconds, one of Gold's closest friends appeared next to him in the water, smiling happily at him. "Oh, hey Aitaro"
Instead of answering him with another cry, the Ambipom swiftly grasped him with one of his tail arms and got him into a headlock. "Haha! Nice one!" To be honest, Gold loved the fact that his pokemon were this way around him. It was nice to know that he wasn't forcing them to be strict, but to be them self. "Uncle!" The male soon cried, "Uncle!" Despite his cries, the pokemon refused to let go, but instead lick him on the cheek before finally letting go. "God you're nasty." He chuckled while rubbing his cheek. It was moments like this that makes his days, especially during the dark times like these. It was depressing for Gold to know that horrid things were happening to Gijinks, but he had to keep smiling. He figures that at least one person has to keep smiling during these times, because if no one does, all the light will be sucked out in a flash.
"Now that you let me go....TAKE THIS!" The 'grown' male hastily backed away and began to splash water at his pokemon childishly, laughing his ass off while doing so. Aitaro's first response to this was to block it, but he was too slow for Gold's fast splashing moves, so the water was able to hit his face. "Aaaaaaaaaaambipoom!" With the help of his fists, the pokemon made a huge wave and sent it towards his trainer, engulfing the man in water. i will always keep fighting to keep the world safe |

I THINK I'M READY TO LEAVE
I THINK I'M READY TO LIVE
I'M READY TO GO | Many days and many nights had carried a certain red-head to many a place in the Lyeant region, both ones she was familiar with and others that she'd tried to avoid when keeping a low profile. As they say, though, desperate times call for desperate measures, and if she were to find what she'd set out to look for, it would be necessary to search every conceivable place. It was this mentality that had dragged her to a “secret” place on the outskirts of the region's jungle. Despite the fact that the behemoth she was tracking down was unlikely to be found at a peaceful spring hidden away by Mother Nature, there was always that small chance. And, even if that were to fail, there was always the possibility of running into someone who had seen it, or would be able to direct her to someone who had.
It was for this reason and this reason alone that Frieda had returned to the Firefly Springs, red boots sinking into the patches of especially damp soil and scarlet eyes narrowed into a look of sheer determination. Her elder sister and Lyeant menace, Lorelei, had taken her here years ago for a short little vacation of sorts. It took a great deal of effort to block out those childhood memories now. She wasn't here to play like she had with her sibling way back when; she was here to hunt down the wild Tyranitar that may or may not have eaten the aforementioned sibling whole. If the duel dark-and-rock-type Pokemon remained at large, there was the chance that it could attack someplace, resulting in... well, major damage. If she could avoid that happening, she'd do whatever it took to do so.
However, as was to be suspected, the Springs was more or less empty, only a handful of tourists who'd been lucky enough to find the place lingering around. Even then, it seemed like most of them had grown annoyed for one reason or the other and were beginning to leave. This strange event confused the trainer for only a few moments before her eyes landed on the water itself and she bore witness to the problem: a black-haired male splashing water at his Pokemon rather obnoxiously. While the fact that he was scaring away people that potentially could have helped in her search bothered her, the feeling was eclipsed more by jealousy; that looked fun. Now that someone else was playing in the water, though, hoping in herself would have been considered “weird” or something. Aw, well. She'd have to splash away another day.
“Yo, cool kid!” she shouted to the other trainer, waving her arms wide in the air to get his attention. “You seen a big ol' Pokemon makin' a mess 'round these parts? Or, like. Any parts? I'm lookin' for a scary lookin' Tyranitar.” |

One by one, Gold slowly took into account the fact that the tourists that once surrounded him and his furry pokemon companion, were now leaving the area, which was weird since this lake was known for its alluring beauty. Of course this didn't really bothered the black haired fellow, but only pleased him more. It was a bit irritating to know that other human beings are observing you shirtless, especially if one of those humans were an old grumpy looking man who resembled a neighborhood perv, so this was only a gift to him.
"Aw, looks like they're leaving!" He informed his Ambipom with a smirk, only to see his pokemon look back at him with a similar gleam in his eyes. It was like the two were one of the same, thinking the exact same thing all the time. It made sense considering they knew eachother for such a long time, and they were both grateful for such an amazing friendship. "Hey Aitaro, are ya thinking what I'm thinking." By the giggling response, Gold assumed his friend had meant to say yes, so he went ahead and began to swim towards the shore, only to start splashing water at the random people that were still there. "Ah!" The couple whom he splashed at screamed, trying to dodge the water, only to fail.
Aitaro on the other hand, decided it would would be better to TACKLE the unsuspecting guests. So, as ninja like he could be, the very peppy pokemon sneaked up behind the couple before launching at them, forcing them both to fall stomach first on the ground. It was simply hilarious to watch such a scene for Gold, truly spectacular.
"Yo, cool kid!"
“You seen a big ol' Pokemon makin' a mess 'round these parts? Or, like. Any parts? I'm lookin' for a scary lookin' Tyranitar.”
Um..not that he know of. Well, it wasn't like the man was extremely keen on remembering things, so there was a possibly that he did see such a gigantic pokemon, but didn't chose to remember. What he did know was that this female was smoking hot, and she rocked her damn sexy outfit. "I do see a fine lady though. I'm Gold by the way."

I THINK I'M READY TO LEAVE
I THINK I'M READY TO LIVE
I'M READY TO GO | Frieda was thankful that she'd decided to keep a bit of distance between herself and the trainer splashing away in the sparkling water if only for one reason: the few stragglers who still remained and were walking too close to the water's edge got a nice taste of the spring as bother male and Pokemon started splashing water ad them. Thankfully, only a young couple seemed to be caught in the assault, but plenty of other people recoiled all the same, nearly everyone else leaving in anger or disgust. Many, she noted, a combination of both. The man and woman who'd been drenched earlier were about to make their getaway when the normal-type Pokemon leapt onto them from behind, successfully knocking them both to the ground in a manner that looked and sounded rather painful for both persons. Ouch. While she, by now the only one left, had not taken the water or attack directly, she could still empathize and the envy at not being able to mess around in the water soured into a bit of bitterness. While the command had not been given by the trainer, exactly, the Pokemon's actions were rather rude, and Pokemon tended to reflect their trainer's personality. She was beginning to wonder if his assistance was worth it or not.
With discouraging words, however, the raven-haired stranger proved to have no assistance to offer. He explained that he hadn't seen the duel-type she was pursuing, and the knowledge was enough to dishearten her to the point of nearly pouting externally. Another dead end was what this was. Worse, still, he'd managed to scare away every single soul that might have lead her on the path to finding her old Pokemon. Some help he turned out to be, she sighed miserably within the contours of her own thoughts. However, his next comment managed to catch her off guard and forget about his rude behavior up until that point, if only for a moment. “I do see a fine lady, though. I'm Gold, by the way.”
A fine lady? The red head took a moment to scan over the area one more time to make sure he wasn't referring to anyone else. Negative. They were the only two left in the area, which meant that he was delusional enough to refer to her as “fine”. She'd never been complimented by a man before. Never been complimented by anyone but her own sister, really. It was for that reason, she swore, and that reason alone that the simple comment left her as a blushing mess, face heated and as bright as a tomato. “F-Frieda,” she stuttered in greeting. “The name's Frieda Ackermann. I-I mean, wait – Frieda Marlene.” Biting her lower lip, she asked, “... You sure you know what you're talkin' 'bout? I don't see any other ladies here. Unless yer seein' ghosts er somethin'.” |
