Berund is the gijinka rights group gone wrong. Originally, they were just trying to get equal rights for their kind, but now, they're opting more for gijinka dominance. Most of them are PH Genetics gijinkas, but there are a few born ones in the mix. They've gotten their hands on a basic form of the gijinka serum, but have yet to do anything with it.
Mirod is the human supremacy group. They'll stop at nothing to see all the gijinkas put behind bars or in some other sort of containment - or worse killed. Most of them have no reason to hate gijinkas, but still join Mirod. They're much larger than Berund, but that doesn't mean they're not stronger than them.
Besides these groups, there's the rest of the population who are caught in the middle. Some of them are gijinkas, others human. They're trying to act as if nothing's going on and live life as they used to, although that's not an option anymore.
