[attr="class","puppy"] [attr="class","puppy2"] [attr="class","puppy3"]history [attr="class","puppy4"]Frieda was born to Oberon and Adelaide Ackermann in the ghettos of what is now referred to as Old Veherna, the red-haired female being the younger sister and only living blood relative of the menace Lorelei Ackermann to this date. Frieda was born during a time much great turbulence between her father, Oberon, and her mother and elder sister – in fact, it is impossible to know whether Oberon is her biological father or not, though all signs point away from it – yet her own childhood years were not too terrible. This was because of Lorelei's interference. The brunette was incredibly protective of her younger sisters, taking as many beatings from their abusive father as it took to keep Frieda unharmed and providing for the two children when their neglectful mother failed to do so. The older of the two sisters became more of a mother to her than their biological mom ever was and ever would be, and despite being nothing more than an infant, these years still greatly impacted their relationship over the course of their lives. When the future-trainer was but three years old, evidence that her father was cheating on her mother – even though her mother had been doing the exact same the entire time – was introduced and a fight unlike any the family of four had ever seen broke out in the crumbling little home. Throughout the entire endeavor, her sister shielded her from high pitched screams and flying, broken glass and porcelain. All Frieda could do was sit a bawl like the child she was as her father slammed the door and never returned. something changed in their mother that day, and the already detestable young woman became even worse. she grew exceptionally distant, all of her energy seeming to have been stolen by a thief in the night and her care for herself and her two daughters vanishing into thin air. for a while, the two sisters were forced to be taken care of by various, sympathetic towns folk who gave them shelter, food, and overall care. however, five years later, the older of the two siblings decided it was unfair to live off of the kindness of acquaintances and returned home to try and put their lives back together. For a year, having returned to their run down home in the ghettos, little Frieda did everything she could to help her sister run things around the home. With their mother in a state of mental absence, after all, who would keep them alive but themselves? The only thing their father had taught Lorelei before disappearing off the radar was how to survive, these things being passed down to the youngest of the household very quickly as to help her better survive, herself. While they most certainly not living in the lap of luxury, they were alive, and were doing so by their own accord. Things finally seemed to be looking for them when, once again, disaster struck. disease struck the still growing town of veherna, the people unprepared and with medicines still weeks away from coming. adelaide was the first to fall ill, symptoms being around for nearly a month before her youngest daughter caught it, too. The middle female tried every homemade remedy, tried to keep everyone at full health. however, without direct medical attention, the illness got progressively worse. in the end, it was too much for the eldest of the three and their mother passed away. her daughters did not attend her funeral. when all hope seemed to be lost for nine-year-old frieda, medicine finally arrived in town and the much needed attention was given to those who had fallen ill. the younger of the only two remaining ackermanns made as close to a full recovery as she could and, in the end, everything went back to normal. as normal as loosing their guardian could be, that is. without their mother to take care of them, all that was left was to locate their father and have them live with him and the new family he'd found to replace them. however, the elder of the two refused to go anywhere near the man, blaming him for how distorted their lives had been and currently was. afraid they would take the two by force, Lorelei packed both frieda and her things and hit the road, taking her younger sister with her and, essentially, running away from veherna. by the time the weakening duo arrived in irisia city, things once again fell even more downhill after being stabilized once more. Frieda decided that she did not wish to remain on the run, uncertain of where they would sleep or if they'd get a meal that night. she decided she would rather live under the father she'd never known's roof than on the cold, hard concrete under an unforgiving sky. This made her sister enraged. Another extreme argument broke out, this time between the close sisters as Lorelei said such things as how their father didn't love either of them, and that only the older of the two girls would ever really care about her. She was told that, if she left, no one would care for her. Not then, not ever. Heartbroken, she fled, off to pursue her father and praying every night that he would show her the pity the brunette seemed so incapable of showing. Years without a word of either living family member later, she couldn't help but wonder if she'd been the one in the wrong, after all. This seemed to be the case when she found his name on a tombstone, the killer still at large, but the murder having her sister's name written all over it. Frieda feared for her life. Her sister was none to forgiving, and even if she had been the one to practically raise her, the red-head wasn't sure if she'd make it out alive after an encounter with the recently-appointed Imum leader. So she stuck to the shadows, ever watching as Lyeant's Cities were destroyed at her once beloved sister's hands and knowing full well that her cowardice alone was what made this happened. If she had the courage to calm her sister down, perhaps so many lives would not have been lost. Similarly to how Ms. Ackermann considered her sister dead after their fallout, Frieda Ackermann decided that the Lorelei she had known was long gone. With no family and no one to turn to, she started to go under the alias Marlene and kept as low a profile as it took to stay out of her sister's way. When news of the menace's demise reached her troubled ears, it was difficult not to feel a mixture of pain and relief. However, with her sister finally gone, it was safe to stop hiding in the shadows and actually try to live, rather than merely making the bare minimum requirements of living. Having heard rumors of Lorelei being killed by her own Tyranitar – Freude, the first and only gift from Frieda to Lorelei and the Pocket Monster that Frieda had loved so dearly – she has set out to find the beast before it causes serious problems. Along the road, it also wouldn't hurt to try and right the wrongs her blood relative has caused society.
