Where others took solace in ice, grass, sparks and steel, he held true with those who favored fire – an element that could grow as much as it could destroy – or so he asserted. Big words for a kid who eventually did not look like he ever grew out of his late teens. He swears he’s older than you think. Really. He may not look like it, but Noel was once like any other trainer – an ex-champion hopeful, battling for the master’s throne. This goal took him from Kanto to Hoenn, assembling a mixed team of his own competitive battlers as time went by. His journey of adventure eventually took him off the path after losing to the past champion several times, where he realized that he preferred spending time with his Pokémon far more than competing with them. Qualifying as a gym leader was only a natural choice after that; it was a position where he could meet more new trainers and their Pokémon than he could ever want, yet oversee the region as a representative to its cause. A resident of Ishya City before its ruinous demise, he can be found wandering the area on certain days, much to the frustration of some prospective challengers; tracking the elusive gym leader. Despite being a bit of a slacker, he does take his position at least moderately seriously, and tries his best to be a competent gym leader when he can. As of now, he awaits new challengers and goes about his daily activities with a kind of guarded verve, relishing the challenges of Lyeant that his original region never had.

basically, because PH genetics is my baby, i'm just going to say that your history is a little inaccurate compared to the plot. first of all, PH had nothing to do with the war before the current plot. secondly, they're not evil. okay. basically, everyone turned into a gijinka by them went there voluntarily. now, berund recently stole some serum, and there's going to be... an event, per say, sometime in the near future, where noel could be turned into a gijinka involuntarily. so, if you wanted in on that instead, just edit it out and wait for it. so, yeah, just post in the notification thread again when you're ready!

Right, sorry for the hiccup. Was writing with limited information and some parts made me confused, but thanks for the head's up! The new plot explanation thread helped a lot.

Removed references of gijinka traits and made him human.
