Her father had given her a Pokemon egg for her 10th birthday, which caused her to pursue breeding. She wasn't one to battle, and as such she'd been bullied over it. One day, though, another girl stood up for her - Tokiko Tsumetai, a Unovian girl who pursued the beautiful act of coordination with her Eevee and Togepi. The two had become best friends ever since. However, "Tsume" was worried about her neediness, and, in an act of desperation, confronted her about it. Jade assumed her friend was mad at her, and started to sob. Later that day, though, her egg hatched into an adorable Eevee. A fortnight later, Tokiko, hoping the friendship could still go on, mailed her a Moss Rock and another egg. She didn't understand what the Moss Rock was for (However she didn't question it in fear) until Eevee evolved - That made her realize how much Tokiko cared. A few years later, now 13, she bumped into a trainer at the Pokemon Center - Kai, and they exchanged Pokegear numbers. She really had this crush on him, but she never admitted it - Until he did when he moved away to Kalos. She was fiercely attracted to her Pokegear, so much that her parents worried about her health and limited its use. She felt really depressed, even moreso when Tokiko's career led her to Sinnoh. With barely any time for her Pokegear, she became more distant to people. The only thing that helped her was hatching Pokemon and protecting them - She only adopts a few, however, since she believes she doesn't deserve them. One weekend, she received a call from Tokiko, who invited her to the Lyeant region. her parents decided to let her go, since she hasn't been outside the neighborhood in forever. When she hard of the gijinka population, she immeditately thought it would be cute to see a Pachirisu gijinka, so she extended her services to them as well.
